The biggest week of electronic/dance music has finally came...The 25th Annual Winter Music Conference 2010 in Miami Beach, Florida. This week long event brings every DJ imaginable to the sunny shores of Miami for a week of clubbing, pool parties, boat parties, beach sets and to end it all on the weekend...the infamous Ultra Music Festival!!! With the event running from March 23-27th, Miami will be taking over with the sounds of electronic music.
Throughout the week there are events at all the premiere clubs in Miami with the top DJ's releasing some of their new tracks. The kick-off party is tonight at the prestigious
Mansion Nightclub on Miami Beach with the sounds of Benny Benassi, MSTRKRFT, & Wolfgang Gartner taking the decks! Within minimum ticket price of $1500USD for a table of 6, these events are not for the faint of heart, you are pretty much guaranteed what you pay for....a wicked ass time!

This festival boasts the who's who of the industry such as Tiesto, Armin van Burren, deadmau5, David Guetta, Carl Cox, The Swedish House Mafia, Groove Armada, Eric Prydz, Pete Tong, Erik Morillo, Sasha, John Digweed, Benny Benassi, Crookers, Above & Beyong, Faithless Sound System, Infected Mushrooms, Dirty South, Kaskade, LMFAO, Bass Nectar, Erol Alkan, Boyz Noise...and the list keeps growing! Practically the best event of the year in terms of music, I will be posting some live sets in a few weeks from now so you are able to enjoy the sets anytime anywhere!!!

Hey everyone, with all the rain days I was finally able to record one of my first mixes with my decks. Pardon the quality as I am still finding a program to get the sound exactly right. Its tough to get all of the programs/files/editors in order to make a recorded mix sound 100%. I will continue to find better recording software so you get the best quality!

OK, so here is one of the biggest tracks that will be sweeping clubs and festivals world-wide for 2010 and years to come. If any of you out there knows the song by Faithless called Insomnia, you will know what I am talking about. When Faithless came out with "Insomnia" it was played in almost every DJ's live set and this is going to be exactly the same. With Eric Prydz remixing it and having a World Premier on the Essential Selection with Pete Tong, you just know its going to be massive!
